I don’t know if this only applies to first time Moms or Moms that have babies several years apart but holy moly the products and information out there are… overwhelming, to say the least. Hiya, and hello! It’s been a while. I feel like I don’t need to explain the absence, ahem, the Holidays, and as I may have mentioned previously, I moved out of state to Dallas, TX at the beginning of December and am working tirelessly, outside of my full-time job and blogging, on completely revamping every room and space in my new apartment. That’s been fun and exciting, so be ready to see bits and pieces of that, but one too many trips to Home Goods and Target.

I hope you are having a holly jolly Christmas season! This time of the year always makes me a little happier, and smile more. Tell me I’m not the only one! This month is filled with cheer, parties, yummy food & drinks, friends, etc. etc., so it’s hard not to be filled with joy!

Another reason that I have a little extra pep in my step lately is because of all of the kind and of course stylish girls I’ve met through blogging.

This post may be coming out of left field as someone representing herself as a style blogger. But, I am still a real person, with a real regular job aside from blogging, with a real budget. I have also become a minimalist in my age, which may also be ironic for a style blogger. Nevertheless, I want to represent myself as authentic as possible, and hope to connect my style and theories behind my wardrobe with like-minded girls, because at the end of the day, we do like to wear our favorite sweater or favorite pair of jeans over and over.

I feel like this is one of the easiest looks for me to put together, stemming from my many years of lots of girls’ nights, happy hours, ladies night drinks in college, and basically being a single girl until I was 26.
