$13 Shirt Dress With a Denim Jacket Perfect for Fall

Happy Monday, friends! I had the most relaxing weekend I’ve had in a while, which consisted of meeting a friend I haven’t seen in months for coffee/brunch/catch-up! I also did a little shopping and ended the weekend with yummy food and a funny movie. Hello Girls Trip!

Do you ever wake up in the morning and just want something easy to throw on, where you don’t have to put too much thought into your outfit? Insert a shirt dress. It’s one article of clothing. You don’t have to match two pieces together. And, if it’s a little chilly outside then the next easiest thing to do is a grab a denim jacket. Yes, y’all, the 90s (some trends) are back in full force and you’re seeing them everywhere.

I picked up in this striped dress that is only $13, and also comes in black. It has some stretch to it, and usually in this case I go up a size for modesty. I’m in a medium. If it ends up warming up during the day I typically just tie the jacket around my waist, which for me serves a double purpose. Hides my bum in said dress with stretch, and also keeps me cool. If it gets chilly again at night just put the jacket back on. Super simple and super easy. I don’t know about you but I love a good t-shirt dress and will live in them year-round, as long as temps agree.
