I can’t help but to preface this post with “I’m featuring a dress that is completely weather-appropriate for our climate in October…” but I will of course also be including other options that fit true Fall-like October weather as well!
This burgundy shade is already a fan favorite for the Fall. Say that 5 times fast! But truly, there are just certain colors I gravitate towards and pick up during the cooler months.. or the months that are supposed to be cooler, and one of the is definitely this color and any variation! You too? I started looking to lace tops and dresses earlier this year and have noticed that lace is not leaving just yet. Which is fine by me. If you’ve been around for a while then you already know of my affinity to ties/knot/tie-up tops & details, etc., so being that this dress included things I already love: lace, burgundy, AND a cute little bow tie, I was sold. I was also really sold on the price! I think it was like $24 or $27 dollars.. crazy good!
If you did want to wear this exact dress (also comes in black and I’m in a size medium) you could throw over a blazer to make it more polished and warm. Or, if you live where I live, Louisiana, then you can wear this dress to an evening wedding or similar event and be just fine, as is! With the lace detail and the bow, I didn’t want to add anymore details so I kept my accessories and shoes simple, but added a contrasting pop of color in my ball drop earrings. Why does that phrase just sound weird now? Haha. Anyway, these earrings are part of the SugarFix for BaubleBar line at Target, and I own them in 3 colors, because the price point is just perfect! $13!
