Wow, what a great weekend! If you saw any of my instastories the past couple of days then you noticed that I was down at the beach, 30A area of Florida. I’m soaking up all the time I have being so close with as many weekend beach trips as I can fit in. My cousin and I ventured out Saturday night and tried a fondue and tapas restaurant in Rosemary Beach that’s been on my list for a while, and we were finally able to get in. It’s called La Crema, and it was a-mazing. From the laid back and fun atmosphere, the service, to the FOOD, oh my gosh the food-we even got to witness a wedding party send off the bride and groom by letting go of balloons with glow sticks inside. I need to look up the meaning to that. Anyone know if that’s some sort of tradition I need to know about?
We also had a little pre-dinner drink at the oh so fabulous rooftop of the Pearl Hotel. Do yourself a favor and look this place up, and bookmark it as a must-do on your next trip to the area, if you are not familiar. The views can’t be beat, and the ambiance at this place is top notch.
Now that I’ve snapped back (just a little) to reality, let’s talk about the outfit!
Off-the-shoulder dresses are still going strong in the trend department, and I’m happily still on board. This particular number is so light and airy, and not to mention is only 20 bucks. It would be perfect for your Fourth of July festivities, even over a swimsuit with some beachy flat sandals and a top knot. It’s a little on the shorter side, so I recommend to size up one.
I also can’t stop wearing these lace-up studded block heels! Praise be to whomever in fashionland decided to bring back the block heel. I mean, how did we ever make it all those years in a stiletto? All of my heeled shoes I wear are definitely block heels, and I don’t want it to stop any.time.soon. These shoes are seriously so comfortable, as all of my block heels are, and the neutral color goes with any and everything-even black.
Throw on a little straw bag and a big pair of sunglasses, and you’re also summer date night ready in this get-up!
