I’ve been visiting my Mom for the past few weeks, working my remote job during the day and trying to get to the beach as much as possible on the weekends. She lives a little over an hour away from seriously the most gorgeous beaches in the country. Of course that’s just my personal opinion, but these crystal clear blue waters and white “squeaky clean” sand just get me. I’ve been coming to this area for as long as I can remember. I’ve always had family here, so it’s always been our go-to summer vacation. Can you blame us?
So naturally I partnered up with a local photographer at the beach and ventured down to shoot some looks. Being from the South can I just tell you that you literally don’t realize how humid it is until you try to look good, hair curled, makeup, etc., for about a solid 2 hours, while being outside? Hair a mess, not a joke!
This was my last look for this shoot and my hair just had to go up! I guess it worked out because it showcases these fun pom pom earrings! Speaking of fun pom poms they go perfectly with this fun straw beach bag that definitely doubles as a daytime tote! It’s the perfect size (I’ve put two beach towels, chapstick, sunscreen, wallet, and cell phone in it) to fit all of your essentials.
